Brock Wooldridge

Brock received his BS in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution (2014) and MS in Biology (2015) from UC San Diego. Working in the lab of Dr. Joshua Kohn, he studied the impact of human disturbance on sandy beach invertebrate communities, and used a DNA barcoding approach to investigate cryptic diversity in polychaete worms. Brock has been awarded a James Mills Peirce Fellowship from Harvard and joined the Hoekstra lab in 2015.  Using a comparative genomic approach, he is studying the genetic basis of morphological and behavioral adaptation in deer mice.
